Most people assume it’s about my schedule. It’s not. It’s about you. To be honest, this isn’t just a photoshoot where you show up, smile, and leave with a few pretty pictures.
At least, not with me.
I only take two seniors a week on purpose. Not because I can’t take more, but because I won’t rush something that matters this much. From the moment you book, I’m already thinking about you. Your outfits. Your style. The little details you mentioned in passing. The things you love. The things you’re maybe a little unsure about.
Before your session even starts, I’ve already:
- prepped studio sets based on your outfits and vision
- mapped out locations that fit you, not just what’s convenient
- pulled options from my style closet in case you want something extra
- gathered props that actually make sense for your personality
And when you walk in… we don’t just jump into photos. We sit. We talk. I’m there while you’re getting ready, getting to know you more, hearing what you’re excited about and what you’re nervous about. Because that part matters just as much as the photos. During your session, I’m not rushing you through poses or watching the clock. Sometimes I’ll literally put my camera down. We talk about your sport. Your friends. Your dog. Whatever lights you up. And I let you settle in until you stop thinking about how you look… and just are.
That’s when everything changes.
That’s when the confidence shows up. That’s when the photos start to feel like you. And for my Signature sessions, we don’t stop at one place. We go to multiple locations, we take our time, and we create a full experience instead of trying to squeeze everything into one spot. After your session, I don’t disappear for weeks either. Within a few days, I’m already editing your images. You’ll see sneak peeks on social media, and your ordering appointment is scheduled within the week. A quick turnaround, because I know you’re excited… and honestly, I am too. I could take more clients. But that would mean less time, less attention, and less of what makes this experience feel different. And I’m not willing to trade that. Because this isn’t just about getting photos done. It’s about how you feel while you’re here. It’s about walking in a little nervous and leaving feeling confident. It’s about creating something that actually feels like this moment in your life.
And that deserves more than being rushed through.
One recent session day started with me repainting and refreshing a set before he even arrived.

Later, I built another setup around his X-rays and the scars from his scoliosis surgery because those details were part of his story and deserved to be documented too.

That’s the kind of stuff most people never see behind the scenes.
The little details. The prep work. The intention behind every part of the session.
And honestly, that’s why I keep my schedule limited.
Because I don’t want your session to feel repeated. I want it to feel personal to you.
