Most photographers spend their week shooting. I spend much of mine planning. Before your senior ever steps in front of my camera, I'm matching outfits to locations, pulling pieces from the style closet, gathering props, and preparing studio sets. Limiting my schedule allows me to give each senior the attention they deserve instead of rushing from one session to the next.

My approach is built on a simple idea: the experience should be as high-end as the final result. Whether we are pulling pieces from the Style Closet or experimenting in the studio, every detail is intentional. I am here to lead the session, handle the logistics, and make sure you walk away looking like yourself on your very best day.

Frequently asked questions

My teen hates having their picture taken. Can you still get good photos?

Honestly, some of my favorite sessions start with, “I’m doing this for mom.” I spend time getting to know the senior and their wants. Most seniors leave saying it was way easier and more fun than they expected.

What should I wear for senior pictures?

You'll receive a client prep guide, and I'm happy to help narrow down outfits before your session. A few days before we shoot, you'll send me photos of your outfit options so I can help create the best variety. I also have a client style closet that you can borrow from that includes clothes, shoes, accessories and even cap and gowns.

Can I include sports, hobbies, instruments, vehicles, or pets?

Please do. Some of the most meaningful images come from incorporating things that are important to your senior as well as making the session unique to them.

Where will we take photos?

You can choose from my 2,000+ square foot studio, the outdoor locations on my property that include a resort like pool with waterfall, southern porch and wildflower field, or additional locations around the Evansville area depending on your session. How long does it take to get our images?

You'll receive sneak peeks quickly, and your final images are delivered much faster than industry averages because I intentionally limit how many seniors I photograph each week. We are normally meeting for your ordering appointment by the following week.

Do you offer hair and makeup?

Professional hair and makeup can be added to any senior experience. It is a great option if your senior wants to feel extra polished, camera-ready, and confident before we start shooting. The additional cost is $120.

How far in advance should we book senior pictures?

If you're hoping for a summer session, I recommend reaching out at least a month in advance. For those gorgeous peak fall colors in late October and early November, August is usually the best time to book. I only photograph a few seniors each week, and that's intentional. It gives me the time to help with outfits, plan locations, prepare studio sets, and focus on the details that make each session feel different from the last. What if my senior has no idea what they want?

Honestly, that's completely normal. That's where I come in. I ask a lot of questions. Sometimes it might even feel like too many, but it's intentional. Most seniors can't tell me exactly what they want, but they can usually give me a small clue. Maybe it's a favorite color, a hobby, a sport, a TV show, a music artist, a style of clothing, or even just, "I don't want it to be boring." From there, I start connecting the dots. I've built entire sessions around the smallest detail someone mentioned in conversation. My job is to take those little pieces and turn them into photos that actually feel like your senior instead of something copied from Pinterest. You don't need to show up with a vision board. You just need to show up as yourself.
