I know I’ve been MIA for a while now but I’ve been working on BIG things for the new year! Here’s a list of things to come!
1. The Loft-I’ve got myself a studio people! I will still be doing primarily on location shooting but it will be an option to shoot in the studio! It’s located in Suite 111 of the Old Courthouse with giant floor to ceiling windows and original hardwood floors! It’s awesome. No studio lights will be used there! I am still only a natural light photographer and plan to keep it that way! But it will be an option if weather is bad or you need a more formal type portrait. It will also be the location of final order appointments now and a place to pick up your prints. The Loft (as I will call it) will be open by appointment only. I can’t wait to show you all!
2. Coffee Table Books-Oh you are gonna love these!! These will only be available for purchase after a collection purchase. They are beautiful and oh so unique.

3. Canvases-These have been on my price list for a while but I’ve never had a sample to show. I thought it was time! Canvases are a true work of art, mounted on stretcher frames, printed on canvas art style paper and are ready to hang. See my example below.

Not sure if you can see the texture here but you get the idea.

The paper is stretched around the frames for a finished look.

And ready to hang!

4. Supermodel sessions for Seniors-I have partnered up with the award winning Stylists at Impulse Salon and Day Spa for an ONE-OF-A-KIND experience! Choose the Supermodel Session and get your makeup and hair done ON-LOCATION with us! It’s like having your own personal assistant to change that makeup or hair with your change of clothes. You can have two or three different looks! Say a smoky eye and curly hair for that rocker outfit and then get a more traditional, natural look with straight hair for your mom’s favorite. The possibilities are endless! You will feel like AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL for sure!
I can’t wait to share all these exciting new things with all of you in 2010! Until then, have a Merry Christmas and I hope the holidays bring you lots of wonderful times with family and friends. Have a safe new year!

I know I have been neglecting my blog! My deepest apologies to everyone! You see I have been busy busy this season with about 3-4 shoots a week. Between shooting, proofing, final order appointments, emails, my kids, a wedding in Gatlinburg, a week long visit from my sis, a daughter who got 4 teeth pulled, my birthday, my son’s birthday……ok you get the picture.
I just can’t keep up! If you ever see that my blog is slow please check out my facebook! I put almost every shoot on there. Make sure to become a fan as well!

It was soooo good to see my sis and her family last week. It was a bitter sweet moment when I had to tell them goodbye since I knew my little nephew max would look completely different when I saw him next.
But so is life I suppose. But I did take lots and lots of pictures of the little guy and here are some of my favorites!
Max at 6 months….man has he grown!

God I adore the light here!!!

Yeah so I have been a little slacker lately. I do have a good excuse so don’t throw stuff at me yet.
My dear sister was in town and I spent the week doing nothing but hanging with her, her husband and my nephew Max. We took lots of pics and I worked on some projects for her. Oh and in the midst of her leaving I got a horrible cold and was sick for 3 days!I had a couple of sessions in there mixed in and I have posted them on facebook! Give me some credit! Are you following me on FB? You need to! It’s way fun and you can find out what I am up to pretty much daily. Click here to become a fan!

So on to the shoot. This is Lexi! She was a ball of energy and a whole bucket of fun! We even got lucky with a rainbow. I mean really…who ends up with rainbows in their senior pictures?! I was screaming in the car after the session so excited to see what I got! SOOO Freakin COOL!

Uh Hello Gorgeous!!!

I promise to be back tomorrow with the other session and maybe some pics of little Max!

Oh I love this little girl! She is FULL of personality and spunk. I did her brother’s and sister’s back in the early summer and now it was her turn for her shoot. Mom wanted spunky of course and so we went with the pettiskirt and some AWESOME converse tennies! Gotta love this style!

God how I love this one!!!

Miss Lacey came all the way from Chrisney, Indiana for her pictures. She decided she wanted something different, something out of the norm of what everyone else was doing at her school. Really tho, isn’t “different” in my blood? LOL I LOVE anything out of the box. I had a blast showing her some of my favorite spots and hanging out with her mom and best friend.
Hello Pretty Girl!

Then came the moment when she wanted something REALLY different. So a fountain and a willing participant met. And the result is below. I love how these came out! Thanks Lacey for daring to be different and being the person you want to be! I really admire that.
